Tips for correct installation and safe travel:

Always read and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for your child’s safety seat.

Harness fit: Should be snug enough on the child so that you can't pitch any slack in the harness strap.

Retainer clip: Adjust to be level with the upper armpits.

Make sure the safety seat is secured correctly and snuggly to the vehicle’s seat (car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side and front-to-back, at the seat’s belt path).

Never place a rear-facing infant seat in an active airbag-equipped seating position.

If a forward-facing child safety seat is placed in an airbag-equipped seating position, slide the vehicle seat as far back as possible away from the airbag.

Only use booster seats in vehicle seating positions equipped with both a lap and shoulder belt.

All children 12 and under should ride in the back seat of the vehicle away from the front airbags and further away from the front of the vehicle, which is the point of impact for approximately 80% of crashes.
