This is all classroom instructed, no driving test involved.

Be sure to bring your driver’s license and your AARP card if a member and cash or check for your fees. $20 if an AARP member and $25 for non-members. This certificate is good for 3 years. At the end of the class, you will receive your certificate to receive your discount from your insurance carrier.

No credit/debit cards can be accepted by the instructor at the class. You can also reserve a seat in the class by contacting the Merriam Community Center by phone (913-322-5550) or checking their website (merriam.org/parks). There is no formal lunch break, but food and drink are allowed in the classroom. There is a 15-minute break mid-course. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class if you plan to pay on-site, the day of the class.
