KDOT Transportation Safety Conference
29th Annual KDOT Transportation Safety Conference
April 15-17, 2024
Hotel Topeka at City Center, 1717 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS
We are excited about our line-up of speakers this year including our keynote address by Jay Otto, Montana State University, who will kick off the conference with “Reaching the Last 10%: Ideas on How to Improve Trends in Traffic Safety.” We may be equally excited to offer continuing maintenance credits with the American Institute of Certified Planners and continuing education units for emergency medical service professionals through the Board of Emergency Medical Services.
You and other transportation safety advocates will have the opportunity to visit transportation safety exhibits, network with peers, and attend a choice of breakout sessions supporting the Safe System Approach objectives: Safer People, Safer Roads, Safer Speeds, Safer Vehicles, and Post-Crash Care. Regional breakout sessions held Wednesday, April 17th, will allow for multidisciplinary discussions regarding the specific challenges within each region of Kansas.
Registration is $50 per person. Registration, hotel, and all travel fees will need to be covered by you/your office. The Hotel Topeka at City Center is the conference host hotel. There is a conference rate for hotel rooms.
Breakfast and lunch are part of the conference on April 16–17.
