Community Safety
Kansas, as most places in the world, is home to different cultures with their own national, ethnic, linguistic or religious identity. These cultural groups integrate society and share the roads with everyone. Diverse cultures contribute to society in many aspects, but sometimes have different traffic safety standards and potentially bring a risk to themselves and other drivers. Traffic safety is not only affected by our precautions but also shared with other drivers. By increasing and targeting minorities with higher crash rates, we can increase the safety of all Kansas drivers, passengers, riders, and pedestrians.
