Safety Break! is a FREE educational curriculum and kit with 5 lessons covering various aspects of traffic safety and alcohol abuse prevention.
In the Safety Break! notebook each lesson has objectives, information fact sheets, game instructions, game materials and a homework assignment. The fact sheets contain information students will need to be able to acquire the most education and enjoyment out of the games. You, as the educator, can determine what format to provide this information so it will be most comfortable for you. You can either read the facts directly from the sheet or put your personal touch on that part of the lesson - It’s completely up to you!

Learn the importance of seat belts, motorcycle and ATV safety as well as the various types of license restrictions. At the end of the chapter, they will enjoy Occupant Protection Tic-Tac-Toe. |

Discover the dangers and risks of distracted, drowsy and aggressive driving. Students get to play Fast Lane Feud! |

Understand the that cars are not a place for playing by learning about heatstroke, vehicle blind zones, and trunk entrapment. Identify possible dangers in Safety Spy. |

Increase awareness and understand consequences of underage drinking and impaired driving. Students will test their knowledge with Alcohol Prevention Bingo. |

|
Recognize basic safety skills with animals and emergency vehicles, understand work zones, and learn to be cautious in hazardous weather. End the chapter with a game of True or False! |

Directly following the fact sheets, you will find instructions for that lesson’s game. We have provided you with everything you will need for the games, from the instructions to any additional “parts or pieces” your class will need to play.
