At the end of the class, you will receive your certificate to receive your discount from your insurance carrier.

You can pay for the course 1) in advance, using your credit/debit card by using the Register button provided on this webpage to make payment, or 2) bring cash, check or money order (made out to AARP) to the class. No credit/debit cards can be accepted by the instructor at the class. You can also reserve a seat in the class by contacting the Merriam Community Center by phone (913-322-5550) or checking their website (merriam.org/parks). There is no formal lunch break, but food and drink are allowed in the classroom. There is a 15-minute break mid-course. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class if you plan to pay on-site, the day of the class.
